Creatures Book Series
Winter of 2009 I traveled to Costa Rica to see the rainforest in Manuel Antonio. After this visit I wanted to share the amazing wild rainforest creatures that I encountered with my nephews. But how do you teach a child about creatures and environments that are outside of their experience?
The Creatures Book series connects animals to environments, teaching through reading, visualizing, and kinesthetic play. By introducing children to creatures that inhabit the world we can foster positive attitudes towards our environment.
